The parable of the Lost Sheep, taught by Jesus Christ, is one of the most beloved stories in the Bible, a favorite for Sunday school classes because of its simplicity and poignancy.
Jesus was speaking to a group of tax collectors, sinners, Pharisees, and teachers of the law. He asked them to imagine having a hundred sheep and one of them strayed from the fold. A shepherd would leave his ninety-nine sheep and search for the lost one until he found it. Then, with joy in his heart, he would put it on his shoulders, take it home, and tell his friends and neighbors to rejoice with him, because he had found his lost sheep.
Jesus concluded by telling them there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who do not need to repent.

We know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus so that we might be made right with Father God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.
When we know how much we are loved by God, and are established in God’s grace, we want to do good works to bring delight to Him.

Jesus loved?
All who call on Jesus and believe in Him are not condemed but saved. That is the good news of the gospel.
God is Love
How do we define love?
God is Love, and His love is very different from human love. God’s love is unconditional, and it’s not based on feelings or emotions. He doesn’t love us because we’re lovable or because we make Him feel good; He loves us because He is love. He created us to have a loving relationship with Him, and He sacrificed His own Son (who also willingly died for us) to restore that relationship.
Your joy filled personal relationship with God is what matters more than any other relationship. This relationship is a lifelong journey of change and growth as you get to know God better through Bible reading, Prayer and Interaction with other Christians. The bible is where you will find God’s truth, where true love and wisdom are learned.

This was true of the woman with the issue of blood. (Matthew 9:20–22) She didn’t go around saying, “I must have faith… I hope that I have enough faith…I will have faith… I will not lose faith.” No, she was only conscious of the grace of Jesus—how He always healed the sick, how powerful He was in
raising the dead and how willing He was to use that power for her healing.
She just saw His grace abounding toward her, so much so that she said, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” And when she came behind Jesus and touched the very hem of His garment, she was healed. At that same moment, Jesus stopped, turned around and said to her, “Be of good cheer, daughter;
your faith has made you well.”
When the woman saw His grace, God saw her faith! And so it was by grace, through faith, that God’s promise became sure in her life.
God wants you to see His grace. And when you see His grace, He sees your faith. God says, “For by grace are you saved through faith.” The Greek word for “saved”, sozo, doesn’t just mean to save from hell, but also to heal, preserve and make whole. So it is by grace that you are made whole, kept healthy, preserved and blessed. It is by grace through faith that God’s promises become sure in your life.
My friend, don’t worry if you feel that you lack faith. Begin to see God’s grace in your situation and He will see that as faith. And because He sees your faith, you will receive the breakthrough you need!
When you see Gods grace, He sees your faith, and you will receive your breakthrough.
